Overview

GM551A is designed to provide customers with global network coverage on the connectivity of LTE. It delivers 50Mbp-up and 150Mbps-down data rates on LTE FDD networks and can also be fully backward compatible with existing EVDO, UMTS, and GSM/GPRS networks.
Rx diversity which allows the end-device to be equipped with two distinct cellular antennas improving the quality and reliability of the wireless connectivity.

A rich set of internet protocols (PAP and CHAP used for PPP connections)and abundant functions (GPS/A-GPS, FOTA, Band Lock, Open RIL code, MMS, SMS) extend the applicability of the module to a wide range of M2M applications.

GM551A also allows the integration of automotive and other applications requiring assured extended operating temperature range and mechanical ruggedness within the ever-shrinking space inside electronic bays in trucks, automobiles, and other mobile platforms.

For the GM551A 4G on-board front-mounted communication module, its research and development have strictly followed the TS16949 quality control requirement. It has been applied commercially in a number of front-mounted projects; GM551A 4G on-board front-mounted communication module supports domestic 4G Netcom businesses, with leading performance in the industry, and very good liability, and ease of use. It has been widely used in domestic mainstream OEMs and T-BOX of Tier 1 and iHU all-in-one machine. The mass production and shipment of the are also available on various front-mounted products.
